Bostik GoldPlus Waterproofing & Antifracture Membrane 3.5 Gallon Pail
Ready-to-use, roller-applied latex waterproofing and anti-fracture membrane for use beneath thin-set ceramic tile installations on vertical and horizontal surfaces. It prevents tile cracking caused by the shrinkage of new concrete slabs and prevents cracks up to 1⁄8″ from transferring through tile or stone. It also waterproofs showers, lavatories, fountains, commercial kitchens, and restaurants.
Features
- Requires 1 hour dry time before tile installation (or before a second coat)
- The color will change from a pale yellow to gold when fully cured
- Apply over interior/exterior floor and walls such as concrete, cement block walls, cement backer board, exterior grade plywood (interior, dry installations only), mortar beds, and poured gypsum-based underlayments
- Commercial or residential applications
- Prevent tile cracking caused by the shrinkage of new concrete slabs and prevent cracks up to 1/8″ from transferring through tile or stone
- GoldPlus contains Bostik’s Blockade antimicrobial protection, which helps protect against the growth of bacteria, mold, and mildew and enables it to resist mold stains.
- The D-2001 Mastic exceeds the requirements of ANSI A136.1 Type I and II
- Use to waterproof showers, lavatories, fountains, restaurants, and many other locations
- Roller applied for easy application
- Coverage: 45 ft2/gallon with a thickness of 30 mils wet/20 mil dry GoldPlus layer (Coverage will vary depending on the roughness of the substrate)
