About This Rug

This gorgeous, finely-knotted Farahan rug is a Mamluk rug design from ancient Egypt, translated in muted, neutral, natural dyes. These rugs achieve an antique, muted look without compromising the quality of the wool with chemicals or other methods that are commonly used. This finely woven Farahan is rendered in natural dyes and muted neutral color. You may order the rug any size (4- to 6-month delivery), keeping in mind that the design would be scaled to be appropriate for the size. Handknotted in Pakistan, long-staple wool on a cotton warp.
