About This Rug 

My, this is a beautiful rug, a perfect example of the rebirth of traditional rugs produced now with the traditional techniques (hand-carded, handspun, vegetal-dyed, quality wool) that were resurrected in the 1980s. This one, hand-knotted in Pakistan, shows the character achieved by using glowing natural dyes with handspun wool: a variation in the colors that give the rug character and depth of color. (More on natural-dye rugs.) This rug can be made in other sizes. Please inquire for more information about that.
