Common Questions
How do you waterproof a shower mixing valve?
Measure and cut the Schluter Kerdi waterproofing membrane to fit the area around the mixing valve. Leave some excess membrane around the valve to ensure complete coverage. Using a notched trowel, apply a layer of thin-set mortar to the area where you’ll be installing the Schluter Kerdi membrane. This mortar creates a solid bonding surface for the membrane and ensures a secure installation. Learn More
