About This Rug

This extraordinary rug, handwoven in Tibet of the best Tibetan wool from sheep living at very high altitudes, graces the floor of the owner’s home. It’s hard to convey in words and photos how beautiful it is. Woven with handspun, long-staple sheepswool that has absorbed the dyes in a way that gives the rug much character, we suggest ordering a 2×3 to see before ordering a very large piece because the rug is heavy and costly to ship.
